I would break eggs on the edge of the counter, but I’ll always be afraid of a repeat of the time I tried to do that in college, when the whole thing smashed and went everywhere. Also, the edge of my counter is rounded off. I might stick with the steak knife method…I mean, it worked.

Three questions
1. I made myself scrambled eggs for the first time tonight. Now that I know how to do it, what is a way to optimize the process so I have the least possible number of dishes to wash?
2. I couldn’t get the eggs to break so I ended up whacking them with a steak knife until they started to crack. Resourceful? Or just sad?
